Mukund Education Society

Mukund Education Society was established in December 1984 at Risod, a small town of Maharashtra, under visionary leadership of Mr. Mohanlalji Jain, Mrs. Sushila Walchale and Adv. Vaishali Walchale Jain. The intention was to deliver social service through various initiatives like  literacy programs, self employment projects, health care programs and a wide range of education initiatives from essential schooling up to higher education including technical, paramedical and professional courses. It was kept in mind due to serve people of this socioeconomically backward region of Maharashtra, the services has to be made available at the lowest cost.

Since inception, MES is serving the society with various causes like woman and youth empowerment, child development, village development, environment awareness, health care camps, youth personality development, fight against malnutrition and social awareness programs.

Due to the prevalence of non productive agricultural land and non developed tribal population, Vidarbha region of Maharashtra is socially, economically and educationally backward, thus our society has since its inception managed to provide quality education and service and attaining milestones in said vertical of the social development.

Its primary objective has been towards providing professional and technical education with highest possible quality, and minimal cost in the rural area. It was made possible due to dedicated service and enormous efforts taken by the member directors and staff of Mukund education Society who carries valuable experience in areas like education, academics, industry, service and social organizations.

In addition to development in education, MES contributes towards social causes like health care programs, water management, computer literacy, woman and child care awareness, with a belief that socioeconomic development is very essential to increase self awareness and per capita income to improves  lives of the people of this region.
